OUR STORY
Founded in August 2022 by three seasoned Vermont farmers, Vermont Cattlemen LLC is committed to our local dairy farmers and outstanding beef. By leveraging superior Wagyu genetics, and the expertise of outstanding Vermont cattlemen, we are able to produce prime beef on our family farms.
With over 80 years of combined experience, our founders set out to create a model that keeps our Vermont farmers farming. We understand the difference between good and great, and our families have enjoyed the luxury of quality local beef for generations. By partnering together, we can produce this elite beef for you and yours.
Our American Wagyu beef is bred, fed, and raised right on our growing family of farms, delivering unparalleled flavor while supporting local farmers.

American Wagyu
What is Wagyu?
Wagyu translates to "Japanese Cow" & includes 4 different strains or breeds. These cattle are known for incredibly high quality beef, with unique marbling ability and fat characteristics.
Our cattle are F1 crosses, ensuring 50% or higher Wagyu genetics. Enjoy better beef.

OUR
Process
We are a team of Vermont Cattlemen, from dairy farmers and custom growers to veterinarians and meat processors. We are breeding, growing, and finishing dairy crossbred cattle with high-marbling Wagyu genetics, ensuring a superior beef product. We raise cattle for at least 22 months to achieve prime quality before cattle are processed and sold locally or regionally.
